Sts. Joseph and John School is assigning a summer reading book and project for students entering grades 1st-8th. We intend to stress the value of reading as a lifelong habit that provides entertainment, expands our worldviews, and leads to the cultivation of knowledge.
Directions about Summer Reading and Math assignments will be sent home in the report cards and posted on the school's website sjjschool.org. Please click on the SUMMER ENRICHMENT tab and look for your child's incoming grade level in the drop down. Parents, if you have any additional questions please feel free to contact one of your child's incoming grade teacher(s) that will be listed on the directions. The idea behind the assignments is to keep students skills sharp in Reading and Math throughout the summer and to have fun doing it. These assignments are due on the first day of school, Tuesday, August 20th.
