The Florence Kruczek Viking Visionary Center is a place for our students to design, invent, collaborate, connect and have fun using the principles of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
UPcycle Station - Our UPcycle Station encourages students to transform old stuff into cool new stuff.
The environmental benefits of upcycling are huge by minimizing the materials and waste being sent to landfill each year, it also reduces the need for production using new or raw materials which means a reduction in air pollution, water pollution, greenhouse gas emissions and often a conservation of global resources.
Take Apart Tech Station - Some basic tools, garage sale electronics, and a little bit of supervision, and students can start discovering what the insides of electronics look like.
LEGO - One of our parents with several of our teachers donated his time and money to help us create our LEGO wall. The LEGO® brick is the perfect prototyping tool and empowers every student, at all grade levels, to follow their curiosity wherever it leads them, in a safe, inspiring, and instantly accessible environment.
Circuits - Students learn about electricity while creating interactive circuits in our makerspace. Thank you to all those who donated to the Dioceses of Cleveland's Rooted in Faith Campaign who awarded SJJ funds to purchase littleBits Coding and STEM kits.
Sewing, Arts and Crafts - Students will have the opportunity to learn to sew, knit, crochet and craft with the help of online tutorials and teacher workshops. Please click on our donation page above if you have working sewing machines, needles or craft materials you would like to donate.
